Weekly Quizzes Due Date: 9/14/2015 Subject: Science 6 Every Wednesday is a weekly quiz. Heredity and Earth Science are the materials covered the first three marking periods. Please have your student prepare for quizzes by reviewing notes, handouts, and reading the section of the book we are covering. All the notes come almost directly from the text... new things have been added to update the material. At the end of each chapter in the textbook there is a study guide and some questions which we do not always have time to review in class. Students should be able to answer the questions from each section covered if they are prepared for the quiz. 
Labwork Due Date: 9/9/2015 Subject: Science 6 Labs are in all different forms: 1. Some are drawlings looking for the details. 2. Some are coloring to follow a genetic trait through a complete process. 3. Some are construction of a design. 4. Some are exploration of magnets or other forces. 5. 6th graders will do exploration and simple lab reports preparing them for future science labwork.
